  Such a beautiful area. The buildings and landscaping are all well kept. There’s a nice walking trail along the lake with benches, and a beautiful pier. I love spending time here, and could stay here all day.

  Amazing park with two main areas. One has a great campground in the Tahoe forest, spots are nicely spaced apart and have bear boxes for your food (use them!!) The other area is a historic lakeside mansion and grounds, with beautiful views of the lake, beaches, and summer tours of the mansion if that's your thing.
  So much to do and like in this park. This is one of the few places that offers winter camping spots (on snow) for the hardy. Also in winter there are great groomed cross country ski trails for all to use.
